Pascal Foy

wood & heritage

Saint Louis, Marie Galante.png

Pascal Foy has dedicated his time to the preservation of the traditional houses of Guadeloupe, the Creole Kaz . During his travels throughout the Caribbean, he noticed the common characteristics of the typical houses of the West Indies area. And he also noticed that we see less and less of them. For more than 30 years, he has been sculpting his memories on wood, with recycled materials, paint and sometimes sheet metal.

"I salvage wood, sheet metal and hooks from old doors, as well as scraps from the sea. I assemble them and paint them to give them a new life."
