The first time I met Ylda Decrop, it was at the Brasserie Pop, in the heart of Jarry. It was not by chance that she invited me to join her there. The Brasserie Pop is conceived as a place of life, and it is there that Ylda was able to exhibit her paintings for the first time. As you will understand, Ylda was looking for a real home for her paintings, which she considers living beings.
